Because I have been MIA so much I have decided to send the first card of this month as an RAK to someone who leaves a comment on this post. I will put the names in a hat and draw the winner and post their name on Saturday morning Sept 5th. Remember 'Anonymous' isn't a name that qualifies!
This card was much simpler to do than it looks. The card base is 5.5" x 3.5". I cut a piece of white CS 5.5" x 4.75" and used a Martha Stewart border punch on the two long sides. I then embossed just inside the border with one of the Cuttlebug 'Frills' border folders. I cut a panel of green CS 5.5" long and wide enough to fit between the embossing, then a purple panel 5.5" and 1/4" narrower and a white one 5.25" and 1/4" narrower still. I embossed this panel with a distressed stripes folder.
I used a Cuttlebug die to cut the label for the salutation from Papertrey Ink. The 3d sheet is from Crafty Nikki.
This is what I did with the inside of the card. You can see how the border from the front extends beyond the edge of the card.

Jennie - I think your card is very lovely and would consider it an honor to win the RAK. I would like to be able to see it 'up close and personal', so I could see how you put it all together. Thanks for the opportunity to be in the drawing.....
