Angel
I know I have been negligent in blogging. I do have some news. I have been asked to design for dutchpapercrafts.blogspot.com so I have been busy with making some samples which I can't share yet. However I did find time today to make this card that I can show you.
Isn't this angel gorgeous? She is a digi stamp from Crafts and Me. You can buy her HERE
After printing and coloring her I cut her out. I made the frame with Nesties blossoms and also cut the larger size again and ran it through the bug with the swiss dots folder and mounted the frame with dimensional tape. The corners are Cuttlebug dies and I used the negative part on the frame. Butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers are are made from a Stampin Up punch. There is glitter on her wings and on the butterflies. A few half pearls and the card is finished!

April Birthday
If your birthday is in April this card could be going to you!
I used two different stencils for this card. Marianne Designs Star Collection PD 0015 and Happy Birthday Fun HBM 7001 I used the PD 0015 stencil just about as is but omitted the pricking and instead added the sentiment stamp. After cutting it out around the edges I mounted it on green cardstock and cut around it with scissors leaving a narrow border. After embossing and cutting the corners on the back panel I used my Martha Stewart score board to emboss a rectangle and then cut out the middle and backed it with DP. This was then adhered to the card base and the top layer was mounted with dimensional tape. The flowers are hand cut from a 3d sheet from my stash. For the butterfly I colored a piece of vellum and used a MS punch. A few half pearls and the card was done!

Pretty in pink
I was reminded by a friend that I have not updated my blog in a while! I have hit a creative wall so I have not been making any cards. However I do have this unfinished card thatI can show you.
I CASEd this card. The unfinished part is the part that is pierced and should be embroidered but I don't have the right color threads to do it. The stencil I used is Star Collection PD 0008 that you can find HERE

A challenge
The challenge this week on Card Camp was to make a square card. This is the card I made.
I used Shapabilities Fleur de Lis and Nestablilities round and scalloped round dies. The flower is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid.

Dies and punches
I am really hooked on these cards! This is another inspired by Elly.
I have had most of these dies and punches for a while but rarely used them. For this card I used two dies, whole or in part, of the Provocraft 2x2 Vintage set, Marianne Designs Creatables Rectangle Frame and Flourishes, Nestabilities long ovals and Martha Stewart butterfly punches.

Three in a row
The Thursday challenge last week on Card Camp was to make a card with three elements in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. This was my challenge card.
Punching and die cutting but not a lot of stamping so it was a pretty quick and easy card to make.

Something new
Rita made a stunning card that she put on her blog HERE and referred readers to Elly's blog where she got her inspiration. I was inspired enough to CASE one of Elly's cards and make this card!
It was a lot of work but I do like it and shall try some more of these kinds of cards again.
