Out Of My Comfort Zone

I am still having fun using my new stencils! I went way out of my comfort zone with this one by using my least favorite color, which is anything in the orange family.

The stencil I used is Embossing Romance EH 1842. There are two different corners on the stencil leaving room for lots of possibilities. After tracing around the corner I wanted to use I then turned the stencil and repeated that corner. After embossing and cutting out I glued different papers to show through the cuts and then mounted the white layer onto a green card base.
The 3d sheet is one from my stash. I tried something different with this one. Instead of using dimensional tape I used dimensional silicone glue that I found at Hobby Lobby. The verdict is still out on how well I like it. I put some in a syringe and liked how easy it is to use but the big thing is the drying time. I am not very patient when it comes to waiting for things to dry. I may just try to find silicone that dries a little faster and then I think I will like it!

Just came across your blog, and I have never seen so many stencils on one site. this card is absolutely lovely, especially with the colored cardstock added to back and "eye popping appeal"
