Birthday Card.

These are birthday card I made for Card Camp members who had birthdays this month.

I used Spellbinders Labels 14 and 18 and one of the Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3  dies cut and embossed with the Cuttlebug and edged with a gold leaf pen. For the flower I used  Marianne Designs Flower Set LR0145
and for the leaves Flowers and Leaves LR0156.

I CASEd Cathleen's card, ctorina on Splitcoast Stampers, but I changed up the labels and DP. I cut a rectangle and rounded the edges then used  Spellbinders Labels 4 and 14 all edges with a gold leaf pen. The flower is made with Marianne Designs LR0145, the leaves from the LR0156 set and the flourish is from the Decorative Elegance set LR 0157.

Verity

For this card I used another lovely digi stamp from Sugar Nellie, her name is Verity. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid and cut her out with a circle Nestie and adhered her to a pleated circle made with the same Martha Stewart  edge punch I used for the strip behind it. The flourish was made with the first Marinanne Designs Createables die I ever bought, LR0116.

Createables

I have been absent again but not unproductive. I have been working on cards for Dutch Paper Crafts that I am unable to share with you yet. I can however share these cards and you can go to Darlene's blog HERE to order the Marianne Designs Createables that I used. As usual Darlene has the dies at a discounted price that you won't find anywhere else and her shipping charge is just what it costs her. Tell her Jennie sent you!

For this card I used LR0162 for the flowers and leaves.

The flower and leaves for this card is from the LR0164 set.

The set I used for the flower and leave for this card is LRO163.

Joy

Another digi from Sugar Nellie that I just love is Joy.

I used Spellbinders Labels 14 in two different sizes for the image panel and the sentiment. To get the borders  I traced around the outside of the dies and cut them out with scissors. For the edge on the white panel I used MS Punch Around the Page edge punch Vintage Floral. The sentiment is from the Forever Friends cling set from JustRite .

Connie

This is another card with a digi from Sugar Nellie. Her name is Connie.

I used just the corner punch from a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set Swirling Lace to punch the corners on two layers. After coloring Connie with Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid I cut her out. I used a long oval and a large scallop oval Nestie and a Spellbinders tag from the Fancy Tags set. Connie's feet are glued to the tag and then I used dimensional tape to attach her and the tag to the ovals. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels.

Faith

I have been getting a guilty conscience lately because I haven't been doing much coloring. Somehow it seems like cheating to me when all I do is run cardstock and a die through the Cuttlebug.I  used dies and a punch for this card but I also did some coloring!

This lovely image is a digi from Sugar Nellie. Her name is Faith. You can buy her HERE  I also used a Martha Stewart Daisy Punch Around the Page and a Marianne Designs Createables die. Faith is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid.

Parisian Accents and Pearls

Wow I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted! I have cards made just not photographed and shared.

This card was made with the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Parisian Accents dies and Nestabilities Labels 13. The DP is from a 6"x6" pad from Prima called Fairy Flora. It really does have some pretty papers in it.

Swirls

I appreciate your comments very much but if you comment as 'Anonymous' I don't know who you are and cannot reply if you have a question. I had 'Anonymous" ask yesterday how I did the corner within the frame. There is a tutorial on my blog HERE
Punches and the Cuttlebug got a workout for this card! It was made for a challenge on my Yahoo group Card Camp. The challenge was to use a punch, a die cut and an embossing folder.

I used two different Martha Stewart punches, Swirling Lace and Scallop 3 Dot both Punch Around the Page. The embossing folder I used is Cuttlebug Textile Textures and the dies are a Marianne Createables set Designer Doily LR0130. I sponged all the edges with Peach Pastel Colorbox Fluid Chalk. Each layer is raised with dimensional tape.

Positive/Negative

Can you be both positive and negative at the same time? Probably not but your cards can!

I recently purchased the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Parisian Accents set and wanted to see what I could do with it using all the dies in the set. In my post yesterday I used one of the dies tucked behind a label. The die I used is the same die that I have used for this card.
I began by cutting out and embossing the shape from a square piece of card stock. I used the positives on the corners and saved the tiny arrowhead shapes. he panel is raised with dimensional tape and then I glued the arrowheads down onto the DP. A square cut with a Nestie and a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies and I was all done!
I am going to experiment with the rest of the set now!

Pretty Sweet Peas

My sweet peas stamp was still out on my table....I am bad about cleaning and putting stamps back...I wait until I have a few and clean them all at once. As the stamp was already out I decided to use it again.

I used  Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Deco Flowers for the border.... I have also seen it called Vintage Flowers. After stamping the sweet peas I used a Spellbinders labels 14 to cut it out and then used a smaller label with a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Parisian Accents behind it. A piece of satin ribbon and half pearls finished it off.

Daisies for you

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. My first card for July 2011 is just for you.

After coloring this digi image I found that I didn't have the right shade of any of the colors I used so I used the old standby black and white and I like the way it maked the image pop. When I saved this image I didn't make a note of where I got it so I can't share it with you. If you know please let me know so that I can give credit where credit is due. It sure would help if the designers would indicate who they are when they name the image! For the border I used Martha Stewart Daisy punches, a border and a corner punch. As far as I can tell these punches are not sold as a set but come separately.

I had had the border punch for sometime before I realized that it had the markings to line up the corner.  Looking at my other border punches I found another one that also had the markings to line up a corner punch and so I ordered both the corner punches and now I have 2 more punch around the page sets to use!
