Have A Special Day
This is another shaped card that I tried. I must say that it was a lot of trouble to do and I will not be making another one using these dies! The die I used for the end panels was this one from Heartfelt Creations. The center panel is a Spellbinder die from the Ironworks Motifs set.
I am sorry that it didn't photograph very well but this was the best picture I could get from the many I took.

A Challenge
The challenge this week on my Yahoo group Card Camp is to use the African Violet digi pic provided on a round panel. This is the card I made for the challenge.
I cut a fancy circle with a Marianne Designs die and glued it to the front of the card and then cut a window with a circle die. With the same size die I cut a circle of purple cardstock and glued it to the inside of the card behind the window. I printed the digi pic 3 times and cut one out with a circle die smaller than the window and colored just around the outside of the pic where it would show from the side. The second image I colored completely and I colored just 3 flowers on the third print. These were fussy cut and attached to the first image with dimensional tape.

3D decoupage
I have a ton of 3d decoupage sheets. I order them from a lady in England and so I tend to order a lot at a time. The image I used on this card is from the only Christmas sheets I have.
For the border I used punches from Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page. Behind the 3d image I used the same Spellbinder die from the Ironwork Motif set that I used as a snowflake on previous cards.

Card kits
I make samples for Dutch Paper Crafts and the last samples I made were from kits that Darlene has for sale on her blog right now. I made one or two samples from each kit so there are a lot of cards to share! These were really fun and easy to do.

Birthday Wishes
This card has been mailed to someone whose birthday is today so hopefully she has gotten it.
I was inspired by a card kit to make this stand up card. I used Spellbinders Labels 20 dies and Parisian Accents also from Spellbinders. The 3d flower is from a sheet in my stash.

Black and White
Another Heartfelt Creations stamp. HCPC 3409 Tropical Floral Swirls.
I stamped the image on black cardstock with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I then used the individual flowers from the Botanical Floral 2 HCPC 3407 to stamp and cut out three extra flowers that are attached with dimensionals. The border is a Martha Stewart punch Swirling Lace. A few red gems finish it off.

Heartfelt Rose
For this card I used Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3406 Botanical Floral that coordinates with Spellbinders Rose Creations dies. The stamp set is available at Dutch Paper Crafts.
I stamped the three largest flowers on pink paper with a darker pink ink and then made the flower. The medallion is from Spellbinders Parisian Motifs set and the flourishes are from Marianne Designs.

Rose and Cream
In my wandering around blog land I saw a card on I think a Polish blog that I fell in love with. I forgot to bookmark the page so I tried to CASE the card from memory.
This is the front of the card. The front and back are cut separately and joined together.
This is the card opened. I should have put ribbon to hold it together when folded as It has a mind of it's own and springs open. If I I will remember that the next time I make a card like this....if I ever do!
A close-up of the left inside of the card.
A close-up of the right inside of the card, There is a pocket with a tag to write a message on.
Edited to add. This is the link to the card I cased. Thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction!

Parisian Accents and Pearls
Wow I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted! I have cards made just not photographed and shared.
This card was made with the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Parisian Accents dies and Nestabilities Labels 13. The DP is from a 6"x6" pad from Prima called Fairy Flora. It really does have some pretty papers in it.

Swirls
I appreciate your comments very much but if you comment as 'Anonymous' I don't know who you are and cannot reply if you have a question. I had 'Anonymous" ask yesterday how I did the corner within the frame. There is a tutorial on my blog HERE
Punches and the Cuttlebug got a workout for this card! It was made for a challenge on my Yahoo group Card Camp. The challenge was to use a punch, a die cut and an embossing folder.
I used two different Martha Stewart punches, Swirling Lace and Scallop 3 Dot both Punch Around the Page. The embossing folder I used is Cuttlebug Textile Textures and the dies are a Marianne Createables set Designer Doily LR0130. I sponged all the edges with Peach Pastel Colorbox Fluid Chalk. Each layer is raised with dimensional tape.

Positive/Negative
Can you be both positive and negative at the same time? Probably not but your cards can!
I recently purchased the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Parisian Accents set and wanted to see what I could do with it using all the dies in the set. In my post yesterday I used one of the dies tucked behind a label. The die I used is the same die that I have used for this card.
I began by cutting out and embossing the shape from a square piece of card stock. I used the positives on the corners and saved the tiny arrowhead shapes. he panel is raised with dimensional tape and then I glued the arrowheads down onto the DP. A square cut with a Nestie and a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies and I was all done!
I am going to experiment with the rest of the set now!

Book box card
As I was blog hopping I came across a book box card and wanted to try it. Unfortunately the excellent directions were in metric measurements and as I needed to use my score board which isn't metric I had to figure out how to do it in inches!
I will give you the measurements I used but for metric and for the directions I am sending you to the Sassy Scrapper blog.
These are the measurements I used for an A2 card (5.5" x 4.25")
For the folds cut 2 pieces 9" x 5.5" and 2 pieces 9" x 4" from cardstock and score at .75" intervals
For the cover Cut one piece 9.25" x 5.5" and score at 4.25" and 5.5"
I made my cover with white CS and then used aqua CS and DP on the front, back and inside. On the front I cut 2 white rectangles, used a Cuttlebug folder on one piece and then used a die (Heartfelt Creations HCD711)on the top piece and raised it with dimensional tape, The butterflies are Martha Stewart punches covered with glitter.
On the left inside of the card I stamped the sentiment, Let Your Dreams Take Flight, with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder on a panel cut with a Marianne Designs Creatables die. Inside the box I used the positive part of the die I used on the front with the same butterflies and glued them between different folds of the book.

Missing
With vacations and company for the best part of the month May has been dismal for both creating and posting. To finish out the month I want to share some more cards I made using the angel stamps. I printed lots of copies so that I could practice the coloring. Here are 3 that made the cut to become cards.

Angel # 3
Here is the third angel I promised. This one is called Twilight and you can find her HERE
I think this one would make a lovely Christmas card which I might do when I feel like getting out holiday paper and stamps again! When you read this I will be in New Orleans exploring the French Quarter listening to great music and eating great food! I will be back home again tomorrow unfortunately as this is just a quick weekend trip.

Angel #2
I have finished the cards for Dutch Paper Crafts but I can't show them to you yet but I do have another angel card to show you.
This angel is Dusk and you can find the digi HERE at Crafts And Me. I colored her with pencils and OMS. She has glitter on her wings but it doesn't show up in the picture. I used a punch around the page and a butterfly punch from Martha Stewart. Spellbinders Oval and scalloped oval dies and Creatables Rose and leaf dies. I will have the third angel in the series to show you tomorrow.
Edited to add the MS punch I used is Punch Around the Page Vintage Floral.

Iris
I know I have been MIA again! For the first wee in this month I was on vacation at the Grand Canyon. Magnificent. I even got up before dawn one day to see the sunrise over the Canyon!
Before I left I was asked by Darlene of Dutch Paper Crafts to be a designer for her blog and of course I said yes! She sells a lot of the dies that I use on my cards at great prices and also her shipping is actual cost so you get a great deal. I have cards that I am unable to show you just yet but I will be sharing later.
For this card I used the Hearfelt Creations Dutch Iris set.You can get it HERE. The sentiment is from the Forever Friends set from JustRite.
