Pretty flowers

I really like this Memorybox die! Here are a couple more cards with images from Technique Tuesday  colored with pencils.

This is the same image as I used before but this time, as they are supposed to be Morning Glories, I colored them the right color!

This is the peony stamp from Technique Tuesday. The die is from Nellie Snellen.

Marianne Designs

I have finally gotten back after too long a break! Between my class and my daughter visiting I haven't had much time for making cards or blogging. A little late but these are the sample cards I made for the latest release from Dutch Paper Crafts. Marianne Designs LRO200-202

For this card I used the corner die, LRO200 I cut it 4 times and attached it with dimensional tape. To use this die in more than one corner you will need two or more of them as when you run it through the cutting machine, unless you can figure out when to stop on the second one you will flatten the embossing on the first one or you can put the card back in the die and hand emboss it.

I again used the corner die but just on one corner.

For this card I used the corner die again but cut the first one and cut it like an envelope flap and then added two more. For the border on the bottom of the card I used the die LRO201 as a stencil after cutting and embossing it.

This time I used the corner die again but on the fold of the card being sure to line up the cutting edge on the fold. I then used the 3rd die in the series LRO202 on the bottom of the card.

For this card I cut and embossed the die and backed it with solid color cardstock. I then used the die as a template to trace the shape of the edge of the die and cut the DP. This was attached to the base with tape around the two sides and bottom creating a pocket for the tag. The border punch as cut and attached at the bottom.

Golden Butterfly

I have a stash of special papers that I have had for quite a few years. I don't know what I have been saving it for but it is paper that has always been too special to use! LOL Anyway after looking at it I decided to use a little of this beautiful gold paper that is all crinkled and soft.

I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder Textile Textures for the bottom panel and then a Spellbinders Label 14. I used a Nellie Snellen MFD 031 die on the label and then cut a smaller label and embossed it with the same embossing folder. The tag is Spellbinders Parisian Accents the butterfly a Martha Stewart punch and the flourishes are from a Marianne Designs Creatables LRO 116 die set. I was surprised that the beautiful gold paper showed up so well in the picture but it is even prettier in real life.

Nellie Snellen dies

These are some sample cards I made for Dutch Paper Crafts with Nellie Snellen dies. You can order the dies from Darlene HERE

Nellie Snellen die MFD029

MFD030 The image is a digi from Sugar Nellie.

 MFD031.
This package has 2 corner dies. One is a positive die that I cut and glued onto the card. The second is a negative die that I used 4 times to make a border.

MFD032

I used dies from 2 different sets for this card. MFD029 and MFD030.

MFD033.

I think this is my favorite. The die cuts tiny holes in the scallops so that you can stitch if you would like. I saved the cut outs from the die and glued them onto the inside.

Chill Out in stitches

This is a card I made for a swap  'Dog Days Of Summer' on Card Camp. Here in Texas we are certainly in the dog days of summer with temperatures in the 100's every day.

The stamp is an older $1 stamp from Michaels.  It is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid and cut out with Nestabilities lacy squares.

This card is for the second swap I joined for August on Card Camp. For this card we had to have stitching on the card....real or faux.

The floral image I used for this card is a free digi image from Beccy. You can find it HERE I used a Nellie Snellen die MFD 033 and faux stitched with a  blue Micron pen.
