A tiny mesh friend

I am not one who follows the latest trends in card making. I do not have to have all the newest release stamps and DP. I buy what I like whether it was released 5 years ago or 5 minutes ago. I have a few Stampin Up sets that I like but I bought them on EBay long after they were first released. This stamp is from a set called 'A Little Bit Of Happiness'


To make the dual colored background I cut two pieces of CS 4 1/4 " x 2 3/4" taped them together and ran them through the Cuttlebug with the Mesh folder and then cut it to size. If you notice the mat behind the image is also two different colors but they are reversed from the background. I stamped the image twice and colored one with Prismacolor pencils then colored two of the elements from the second stamping, cut them out and raised them with pop dots.

Tomorrow is Friday. I am going to be doing 'Frugal Fridays' for a while. I have a lot of $1 stamps from Michaels and other stuff I found cheap and I am going to be featuring these things.
